Operation & Import Specialist Jobs

Responsibilities

1. To arrange appropriate transportation and the necessary documentation to ensure on-time delivery of Customer Orders and Stock Transfer Orders for Affiliate Companies, in compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation at the lowest cost, as well as arranging physical stock returns when necessary.
2. Liaise with external Companies and Authorities to ensure compliance with local and international regulatory and legal requirements, ensuring all documentation necessary for customs clearances and payments is accurately produced
3. Place orders with agreed forwarding agents, shipping lines, airlines, and haulage companies as appropriate for the destination and size of the load, negotiate rates, and select suppliers for "spot orders”
4. Consolidate orders by destination to reduce costs as far as possible without compromising on-time delivery performance
5. Ensure Customers and Affiliate Companies are given timely and accurate information concerning despatch and delivery
6. Arrange transport, shipping, and import documentation for product returns as required
7. Assist in the resolution of transport-related Customer complaints
8. Support continuous improvement of export shipping processes and performance by raising issues and suggestions at Team and Departmental meetings.
9. Liaise with forwarder or clearing agents and send out clearing instructions
10. To update the shipping register on a daily basis with any changes or new orders and to follow up on any shipments that have not been dispatched on time for local shipment to export/import shipment.
11. Supply warehouses with packing lists for incoming shipments. Ensure that all COA are received, scanned, saved, and filed.

Qualifications

1. 2 Years Experience in logistics background, and state the minimum of two years in inventory/import-export and CS in a logistic company as preferred
2. Bachelor's Degree in any field
3. Able to work in teams and Individual
4. Able to operate computer (Min. Ms. Office)
5. Discipline, honest, conscientious, and have a leadership
6. Can work under pressure
7. Willing to work in Office in Neo Soho, West Jakarta Area - Indonesia
