EF English First is part of EF Education First, the largest privately owned English language teaching organization in the world, which was founded in Sweden in 1965. EF English First Indonesia began operating here in 1986 offering students and the public opportunities to travel overseas to learn English at an Education First Center.

EF SWARA Group opened its first franchise Center in Pluit, North Jakarta in 1997 and from there we have never looked back. 24 years later, EF Swara continues to be the largest group in the Greater Jakarta region, having 10 Centers in the city and its surrounding area. We have 5 Centers in the capital city of Jakarta, 3 in the thriving suburb of Tangerang, and 2 in the satellite city of Bogor.

With a dynamic and expanding team, we established our own Head Office in Tangerang area to help support our EF Centers in continuing to grow as the leading provider of English language education in Indonesia.

👑 Job Role

• Develop and deliver data-driven recommendations that drive continuous improvement and fast change
• Serve as marketing focal point for the group and EF English First team in assigned Area. Liaise between the EF Central marketing team and EF English First team to facilitate knowledge, understanding, and implementation of national marketing tools – in that capacity, frequent business travels within Indonesia are required
• Empower the EF English First team within the group with the knowledge and skills to properly manage their local agencies, ensuring good communication, collaboration, and delivery of results
• Review local creative and marketing activities to ensure compliance with EF English First brand standards
• Lead and educate the EF English First team on marketing objectives, activities, goals, and resources
• Direct EF English First team to create marketing strategies that improve customer retention and drive new referrals to deliver long-term, sustainable student growth
• Equip the EF English First team with the knowledge and tools they need to properly guide their marketing strategies and measure results
• Lead and participate in group business reviews and meetings
• Develop strong working relationships with the EF English First team and become a vital, strategic advisor to their center’s business
• Develop and align strategic marketing plan across all EF English First centers in the group
• Consult and coach the EF English First team to enhance marketing effectiveness by creating an integrated marketing program rooted in strategic planning, with measurable goals, that delivers on business objectives

⛩️ Requirements

• Ability in planning and forecasting through strong analytic skills in sales figures and insights
• At least 2 years of experience in retail marketing management/leadership role
• Great presenter and strong persuasion skills
• Be a champion of innovation with the sound market and industry knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
• Driven, highly motivated, and passionate about sales and marketing
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia (active)
• Relevant degrees and training in the fields of marketing or retail
• Ability to manage finance, budget, and performance reports
• A good team player and strong ability to lead and motivate the team to increase sales
• Excellent communication and ‘people’ skills and the ability to build strong relationships with franchisees, EF English First team, and the EF Central team
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
