Job Description

The Marketing Communication Coordinator for USG Education is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing communication strategies to effectively promote the USG Education program.

This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of marketing principles.

The Marketing Communication Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content, manage communication channels, and ensure consistent brand messaging to enhance the visibility and reputation of the USG Education program.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Communication Strategy:

  • Develop and implement marketing communications strategies consistent with USG educational program goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and audience analysis to identify target segments and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Work with stakeholders to define key messages, positioning, and branding guidelines for the program.


Content Development and Management:

  • Ensure all marketing communications follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand message.
  • Create compelling and engaging marketing content across all platforms and channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, brochures, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external content creators, designers, and agencies to produce high-quality visual, video, and written content.


Digital Marketing Communication:

  • Develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns to target prospective, current, and alumni.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of your digital communications activities and provide data-driven optimization recommendations.
  • Manage USG Education's digital communication channels including website, social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising.


Event Communication:

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging across all event-related communications.
  • Develop event-specific communication plans and collateral materials to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Coordinate marketing communication efforts for events such as information sessions, webinars, fairs, and conferences.

Brand Management:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create and update marketing collateral, templates, and brand assets.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure adherence by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all marketing communication channels.

Relationship Building:

  • Maintain relationships with current students, alumni, and prospective students, providing them with timely and relevant information about the USG Education program.
  • Collaborate with universities, study groups, and other educational partners to develop joint marketing initiatives and leverage their networks.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to share findings and recommendations with management.
  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing communication initiatives.
  • Analyze data and provide insights to optimize communication strategies and campaigns.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including website management, social media, email marketing, and SEO.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the education industry and understanding of the needs and challenges of international students is a plus.
  • Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in marketing coordination or a similar role.
