Responsibilities

• IT System Blueprint: Develop comprehensive IT system blueprints, including system architecture, data flow, and technology roadmaps. Identify gaps and inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance overall system performance.
• Supply Chain and Logistics Knowledge: Utilize your in-depth understanding of supply chain and logistics processes to identify IT solutions and implement technologies that support and optimize these areas.
• IT Infrastructure and System Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems. Continuously assess and improve IT systems to meet evolving business needs.
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and team including integrating systems and ERP, developing efficient IT solutions, and supporting the company's growth and operational excellence.
• Team Building: Build and lead a talented IT team from scratch, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure a high level of technical expertise and performance.
• Integrate Systems and ERP: Develop and implement strategies for integrating various systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaboration with Owners: Work closely with company owners to understand their strategic objectives and align IT initiatives accordingly. Collaborate on key decision-making processes, providing technical expertise and recommendations.

Job Requirements

• Technical Expertise:
• Experience in building IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
• Proven expertise in system integration and ERP implementation, with a strong understanding of integration methodologies, data migration, and system interoperability.
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Extensive knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, including warehouse management, transportation, and inventory management systems.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Education and Experience:
• Ability to think strategically and align IT initiatives with business objectives.
• Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with various teams and departments.
• Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders, including company owners, to understand their requirements and develop effective IT solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional results.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, including recruiting, training, and mentoring team members.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex IT issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking:
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT management roles, preferably in the logistics or freight-forwarding industry.
