As a MV Testing Operator, you will be responsible for conducting testing for Medium Voltage as per IEC and customer specification, checking activities during the manufacturing process.
Reporting to Quality Manager, you will be performing tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.
This position is based in Tangerang, Indonesia.
Your responsibilities

• Assisting the team in performing all checks in the process for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Conducting shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance
• Executing the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines
• Creating the failure analysis when it is happening
• Creating the testing report
• Physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to assure the quality of the product or manufacturing processes

Your background

• Able to do the switchgear routine test and operated the tools required such as tools for contact resistance, power frequency, isolation, relay simulator, CT/VT verification, current/voltage injection
• Good knowledge of electrical tests according to IEC standard
• Technical high school or diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Require 2-5 years experience
• Technical communication skills to explain the design and testing process to the team or customers
