ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Design at Gotrade will play a critical role in our journey building a next generation investment company for the region. You will live and breathe our mission of making investing fun, fair and simple for everyone in Southeast Asia.

As Head of Design you will be responsible for making investing fun, fair & simple through our UX & UI design. You are the main voice of the customer, deeply understanding their pain points and requirements. Your user experience delights customers through its simplicity and fun factor.

You will lead a team of product designers and be hands-on involved in defining the design system. You will report into the VP of Product and work together with the founders, product managers, engineers, data- and marketing teams to bring the best products & features to market.

WHAT YOUʼLL BE DOING

• Working with the VP of Product to define Gotradeʼs Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmap
• Maintain a high bar in design, user experience and consistency throughout the app
• Manage a team of product designers to bring delightful experiences to our customers.
• Own and expand the design system and participate in the design process yourself as well

WHAT YOUʼLL NEED

• 5-10 years in UX design roles of which at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Should be an excellent communicator to drive discussions with cross-functional teams
• Across internal & external stakeholders
• Passion to make investing accessible to the people in South East Asia
• Experience in working in a fast paced tech startup environment
• A clear history of delivering high-quality products
• Ability to inspire and motivate customers and employees through written and verbal
• Communications that are clear, concise, elegant, and persuasive
• Be a self-starter, intrinsically motivated to get the best out of yourself and others
• High energy, ready to take on the world
