The Head of Research Volunteer will play a crucial role in leading research initiatives and guiding the company’s efforts towards meaningful contributions in various areas. This volunteer position requires a passionate and dedicated individual with expertise in research methodologies, critical thinking, and a strong commitment to the company’s mission.

Activities

Working with our CEO your Volunteer role will include all or a selection of:

• Collaborate with other teams and volunteers to integrate research findings into the company’s initiatives and activities.
• Prepare detailed research reports, summaries, and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to the company’s CEO.
• Research ways to support tech companies and their role in economic regeneration. Analyze trends, challenges, and opportunities in the tech industry and propose strategies to promote its growth and impact on local and global economies.
• Conduct research on career development strategies, particularly in the context of career re-alignment. Address the challenges individuals face during career transitions and explore ways to support them effectively. This research may involve studying student debt issues and its impact on career choices and opportunities.
• Research Leadership: Lead and oversee research projects, ensuring their alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Building High-Performance Teams: Investigate effective team-building strategies to increase overall global productivity. Explore various aspects, such as team dynamics, leadership, and diversity, that contribute to the creation of high-performance teams.
• Design data collection methods, gather relevant data, and perform thorough analysis to derive meaningful insights.
• Keep abreast of the latest research trends, industry developments, and best practices related to the assigned research topics.

Acquired Work Experience and Skills

• You will be responsible for leading and overseeing various research projects. This experience will develop your leadership abilities and enable you to effectively manage teams and project timelines.
• As you present research findings through reports and presentations, you will sharpen your communication skills, both written and verbal. You will learn to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Opportunity to receive endorsements and testimonials from SkilledUp Life, which can be added to your professional profile and CV/Resume.
• You will gain hands-on experience in applying different research methodologies, such as qualitative and quantitative data analysis, surveys, interviews, case studies, and literature reviews.

• Ability to commit 2-3 hours per day
• 3 months duration
