Introduction:


Boeing is looking to hire Global Engagement Specialist to be based out of Jakarta, Indonesia. At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire. Be a part of a team that is at the leading edge of flight safety, flight training and flight operations. As a Global Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with professionals from across the industry and positively impact safety and operations of Boeing flight operations and those of our customers world-wide. In this high visibility position you will interact with pilots, managers, regulators, executives, peers, supporting team personnel, and Subject Matter Experts.


Responsibilities:


  • Observes customer operations and reviews recommendations on flight operations and procedures; provides technical information to clarify and apply Boeing flight procedures to customer operations.
  • Assists in development and application of company safety initiatives, strategies that are used in support of continuous accident reduction.
  • Performs instructional and professional activities to support flight crew training, standardization, and flight procedures/operational techniques.
  • Leads the development, reviews, validation, and standardization of flight-related materials, technical bulletins and procedures; leads coordination with others regarding changes affecting flight operations and safety.
  • Oversees development and delivery of flight crew training, simulator training and simulator familiarization flights.
  • Supports activities to obtain aircraft certification.
  • This is a non flying position, Aviation medical not required.
  • Participates in flight deck design and test to develop, validate and ensure adherence to flight crew procedures and operating techniques.


Required Qualifications:


  • A good relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
  • Experienced Technical pilot.
  • Ability to travel domestic & internationally for more than 50% of the time.
  • Demonstrable competency in the use of IT. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite & project planning software.
  • Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Flight data monitoring (FDM/FOQA).
  • Fatigue Risk Management (FRMS).
  • Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • Safety reviews.
  • Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC).
  • Airline management support.
  • Facilitation of industry best practices for operations, training & safety.
  • Personable, organized with a flair for accuracy, planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Cultural awareness, sharing the values, ethos and belief in diversity of our group.
  • Regulatory affairs.
  • Consulting activities and assist in customer support.


Work Authorization:


  • Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
  • This requisition is for a locally hired position in Jakarta Indonesia.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
