Commis - Ayana Komodo

AYANA Hospitality is looking for a Commis to join its team at AYANA Komodo. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen team to prepare the highest quality food for our guests. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of food items for our guests
• Assist with the receiving and storage of food deliveries
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow the recipes and specifications provided by the senior chefs
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, and fish
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
• High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary school or formal culinary training preferred
