About The AVP Operations Control Role

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and Oversight:

• Maintain daily control oversight
• Monitor implementation and coordinate audit issue resolution
• Own, identify and escalate control events (Controls: Incident Report, aged Breaks)
• Monitor and challenge line management on the control environment
• Facilitate and validate daily, weekly and month-end trades, breaks
• Proactively analyse key controls and incidents to self-identify weaknesses and ensure remediation

Quality Assurance

• Perform testing on identified programmes (change control)
• Support risk based daily reviews and checks

• Able to manage resources, monitor activities and assess risks and quality control associated with the programme. Able to prepare documentation and create reports

• Product and/or operational knowledge
• Able to observe monitor, collect, and record data
• Able to establish expectations and clear direction to meet goals and objectives of on-going work for a group of employees
• Able to navigate around the DB infrastructure and organisation
