Army - Information Support Officer

There is a recognised large demand to deliver a provision of support and digital technology services for AHQ and its industry partners. This includes the delivery of hardware and software via the Defence Digital Catalogue services to end users within the AHQ. The appointment of Information Support Officer (ISO) will enhance resource to improve customer service and help deliver the user Support & enabling demand of the Headquarters.
As the post holder within the iHub of Army Headquarters you will hold the skills, knowledge, and autonomy to help craft the Headquarters approach to Digital Delivery within a focused Information Technology environment; this will be supported by a programme of curated training to develop and improve skills and knowledge.
You will have the opportunity to engage a wide range of Customers within AHQ. The position requires a high standard of communication, problem solving, technical knowledge and skills, as well as being flexible & pragmatic.
There will be elements of problem solving, crisis management and business continuity as well providing cover to other teams within the iHub when required.
The post holder will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to manage priority demands from multiple stakeholders.
