Army – Programme Controls Manager

This is an exciting time to join the Army’s Mechanised Infantry [Boxer] Programme team. The programme is part of the Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP).
We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised, and experienced individual to manage the Programmes Control Team, which provides a vital link between the Change Portfolio Office and the Programmes ensuring that accurate and timely information is recorded on Project Online including Schedules, Risks, Issues and Opportunities, Dependencies and Benefits. The team will also be responsible for stakeholder management, information management, governance and reporting, resource management and cost control.
The role of the Programme Controls Manager will be around Governance and Reporting managing and controlling the governance activities in the project to enable effective management and decision making of the project. They must ensure timely, consistent, and accurate data collection, analysis and reporting on project progress and delivery confidence of the Programme.
