Job Description

Baskit turns every medium and small-sized wholesaler into a super-powered mini-distributor by providing sales enablement software, go-to-market services, and supply chain financing.



We are looking for an Area Manager (Sales) to help us scale operations in Central Java area. The candidate will be responsible for the execution of a tightly managed plan to scale up quickly in critical geographies, building great teams and sizeable businesses in the process. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer goods (FMCG) and other verticals' supply chains, as well as strong relationships in specific critical geographies/players/manufacturers.


IMPORTANT: This role will be focused on outcomes and will have a substantial variable component to incentivize great results.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor performance, build great talent, and ensure we enforce a zero-fraud culture
  • Manage the launch budget and ensure all expenses are within budget
  • Build and manage relationships with key wholesalers and distributors in each city
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Commercial, Ops, and Finance to ensure successful target achievement
  • Manage field teams and ensure smooth execution of sales processes


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the traditional/general trade market in Indonesia
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • 5+ years of experience in the supply chain (FMCG and distributor experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing growth in West Java and building great relationships with distributors and grosirs
