Role Summary/Purpose

By becoming a member of GE Vernova’s Communications team, you will help build the story and engagement around a significant and public company transformation. You’ll work closely with teams from across the world to demonstrate GE Vernova’s progress, performance, and path to growth in a dynamic environment.

The APAC Site Communications Specialist will be a key contributor in executing holistic internal communications efforts for key GE Vernova sites in Asia (including South Asia, Asia Pacific and China). The successful candidate will support senior leadership team members at key sites on achieving business objectives and growth priorities; support the broader GE Vernova Communications teams on strategic initiatives; drive localized site employee communications and engagement activities; collaborate closely with various business units and functional teams and help extend global internal and brand campaigns at the sites.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance current site communications at key GE Vernova sites in the APAC region, including content creation for newsletters, updates, site leadership talking points etc.
• Support the communications strategy to front line employees with a focus on SQDC
• Coordinate/support/facilitate local employee appreciation and recognition events
• Gather information and conduct interviews for employee spotlights
• Work with local site leadership teams to utilize appropriate communication mechanisms including paper distribution, onsite TVs and mobile apps to reach production and professional employees
• Help activate crisis communications plans with the region team to ensure continuity of message and reputation management
• Support the GE Vernova’s community service campaigns and other volunteer events

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
• Demonstrated experience in communications with specific experience in internal communications
