Analyst / Associate (Indonesia) Jobs

Climate Smart Ventures (CSV) is a transition and transaction advisory firm specializing in harnessing the full spectrum of financing to deliver capital market-driven solutions thatenhances sustainable business practicessuch asretiringfossil fuel-fired plants and replacingthem with renewables in the context of a rapidly growing South and Southeast Asia.

CSV is currently looking for an Analyst or Associate based in Indonesia to join its growing country team to support the firm further transform the Indonesian power sector in partnership with the public and private sectors.

The Associate will have the following roles and responsibilities:

1)Contributing to business development and institution-building efforts where required (e.g.,knowledge development/ leadership write-ups and reports, marketing, sales,stakeholder engagement,financial model development) including developing new business opportunities with existing clients under coverageand new potential clients.

2)Support project management of engagements and delivery of key materials including the following:

a)Required outputs such as presentations, concept notes, session agendas, annual or semi-annual funder grant reports, overview decks, and other material, coordinating input from leadership and overseeing execution;

b)Management of timelines and engaged consultants and third parties, and;

c)Other activities needed to complete the engagement.

3)Support transaction advisory processes, as set up by CSV, from initial engagement through final close, including the following:

a)Evaluation of strategic alternatives and deal structures and terms;

b)Identifyinvestmentpipelinesfor consideration;

c)Manage due diligence and internal approval/compliance processes;

d)Manage discussions with clients, partners, third parties,and other advisors; and

e)Negotiations including documentation, financialmodeling, and co-leadfundraisingactivities, as needed, and closing activities.

4)Respond to and channel both sell-side and buy-side prospects as referred to by the firm, partners,and clients in coordination withtheHead of Business Development andtheHead of Transaction Advisory.

5)Work with management in drafting and negotiation of legal documents, preparation of reports, coordinating withthird partiesand investors, and other related activities.

6)Provide technical leadership and expertise for billable projects and in-house projects as assigned by the firm, maintaining billability targets set by management.

7)Other related tasks which may be assigned.

About you:

• Based inIndonesia

• Fresh graduate (for Analyst) or shifting industries (for Associate) with interest in going into finance open to apply

• Preferably with at least 3years experiencein a consulting/ corporate finance environment (or other relevant professional services industry)

•Ability to draft and maintain full financial models preferred

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Quantity Survey, Social Science/Sociology or equivalent

• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to think and work independently, taking the initiative and ‘ownership’ of tasks, having strong organizational and time management skills

• Proven ability to use MS Excel for complex problem solving and analysis

• Experience in using MS PowerPoint and Word for communication and report writing
