Get to know the Role

This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing a financial dashboard that presents key financial and accounting metrics periodically, aiding in strategic decision-making and financial management.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Create periodic reports highlighting trends, anomalies, and areas of interest.
• Design user-friendly and informative dashboards that present data clearly and efficiently.
• Link the dashboard to relevant databases and financial systems, ensuring real-time data updates.
• Present analysis findings to business stakeholders; facilitate business discussion driven by data & analytics.
• Build dashboards using Tableau/Power BI/Python to monitor business performance & insights.
• Build simulation tools combining python and google sheets to enable decision makers test different business scenarios.
• Comfortable working with and interpreting a wide range of accounting numbers and financial data.
• Discuss with stakeholders about business problems, then translate it into specific analytical steps and solution.
• Ensure that the design is scalable and easily modifiable.
• Dive deep into our data to identify problems/root causes and opportunities to optimize our systems to benefit Users and Grab.
• Write analytical reports in docs and slides to articulate the study findings and insights.
• Using SQL and Python to deep dive into the data and answer complex business questions.

The Must-Haves

• Proven experience in designing and automating financial dashboards.
• Excellent analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills.
• Work experience between 2-5 years with minimum of GPA 3.5.
• Proficiency in dashboard tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting metrics.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Computer Science/MIS/Industrial Engineering/Mathematics/other quantitative disciplines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and data visualization skills.
• SQL skills is mandatory, Phyton/R skills will be advantageous.
