The Finance Associate will assist the finance team in preparing budgets and financial reports, managing accounting records, handling payments and other financialand accounting tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Maintains a historical record of the company by safekeeping both physical documents
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Make financial reports for the company and its business units
• Substantiates financial transactions by keeping proper and useful auditing documents
• Complies with government or legal requirements and compliance

Ideal Candidate profile:

• Experience in tax-related filing
• Flexibility and eagerness to meet the challenges of a start-up organization
• Finance experience in a technology or fintech company is an advantage
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; high organizational skills
• Graduate of any accounting or finance-related courses
• Excellent interpersonal skills; good oral and written communication skills
• Proven integrity in dealing with internal and external contracts and in implementing company data privacy
• Detail-oriented, data-driven, professional attitude and reliable
• Independent and can adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Passion for startups and financial inclusion
