To support Wahana Visi Indonesia’s strategic objectives to “Improve Child Well Being” through ensuring internal process which providing technical support to WVI’s WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) infrastructure related projects by increasing accountability and quality in a way that reflects Wahana Visi’s core values, mission and strategic directions.

This WASH Engineer is responsible for the implementation of WASH Program, ensuring that the WASH facilities are inclusive and as per approved design, quality specification and the progress is according to work plan, standards and requirements. WASH facilities are not limited to construction of the water supply, sanitation and hygiene facilities but also including survey and assessment, participatory planning, design, monitoring and evaluation, He/She is also responsible for technical capacity development for local staffs, partners and stakeholders in order to ensure the WASH program quality and sustainability in the community.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sub-division design, development and construction large scale WASH projects in community, school and health care facility settings

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with sound knowledge of water, sanitation and hygiene structures and facilities related experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, community development, stakeholders' engagement, monitoring and evaluation, GIS, Project budgeting development and cost management
• Familiar and capable of running WASH and technical drawing softwares such as Waternet, Epanet, Sketch3D, AutoCAD, WaterCAD, GPS, including manual technologies for out of grid areas.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, and communications skills.

Note: The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 70 % of the time.
