About the Role

Supervises and manages a team of people, which will include organizing work schedules and issuing shipping instructions to ensure delivery times and locations are coordinated. This will also include track and trace management so as to monitor goods at all times.

What will you be doing?

1. Develop and implement traffic plans to ensure delivery of goods accurate and within required timeframe
2. Direct and control import and local order activities to be processed appropriately following government and company policies so that the entire import procurement process can run effective and efficient.
3. Control the process of using import costs (shipping, payment, claims, etc.) effectively and efficiently to ensure that the operational costs of procurement of goods are maintained within the set budget so that it runs smoothly and on time.
4. Create pre-alerts for late deliveries, and coordinate with buyers to determine preventive actions.
5. Control and ensure the process of obtaining product licenses including the completeness of documents for all goods arriving at the port is in accordance with the agreement from the vendor (in terms of time, quality and quantity) to increase the effectiveness of the import process carried out by the company.
6. Ensure the availability of documents required in the import process in a complete and timely manner so that the customs clearance process can run smoothly.
7. Evaluate vendor performance in fulfilling company requests to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the import process carried out by the company.
8. Study the regulations and policies issued by the government (including the SNI process), to then provide the right steps/actions in preventing disruption of the company's business operations and can be in line with the regulations set by the government, and coordinate with vendors to ensure products to be sold (sample testing information) can meet the requirements of the Indonesian National Standard.
9. Actively involved in the process of preparing the merchandise buying plan, to then make a schedule and ensure all goods arrive on time.

What do we look for?

• Have knowledge and skills in the following areas: import and local procedures, taxation, vendor management, purchasing management, SNI procedures
• Bachelor degree from any major
• 5 years of experience in the same field is required (traffic import/purchasing import)
