Cafe Operations Manager (Surabaya)
Responsibilities
● Manage the daily operations of the cafe, including scheduling, inventory management,
maintaining a clean and organized environment, staffing, and ensuring quality customer service.
● Maintain excellent customer service by ensuring all customers are satisfied and their needs are
met.
● Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues that may arise and creating a welcoming
and positive environment.
● Recruit, train, supervise, and manage all employees, including front and back of house staff.
● Monitor and manage expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and inventory.
● Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and
quality products.
● Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation.
● Collaborate with the head office to develop, manage and execute marketing campaigns to
increase sales and drive customer traffic.
● Develop and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting.
● Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and other regular reports.
● Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise.
● Liaise with the Franchise Manager from head office for inspection and audit.
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is
preferred.
● Proven experience as Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar position.
● Strong English skills both written and spoken.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
● Ability to understand other people and maintain a people-first attitude.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
● Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen management.
● Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
● Knowledge of recruiting and staff management.
● Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
● Good understanding of useful computer programs.
● Currently living in Surabaya is preferred.
