About Opportunity

• This is a part time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. If you are passionate about digital marketing and have a desire to learn and grow in the field of SEO, we would love to hear from you.
• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Volunteer to join a tech company on SkilledUp Life. The SEO Volunteer will play a key role in assisting with the implementation and execution of a Tech company's search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
• As a SEO and Growth Volunteer, you will work closely with the company Marketing leader and will be responsible for using Search Engine Optimization to help the team grow its digital footprint for our social network app.

Activities

• Assist in the creation and implementation of link building strategies.
• Help with the optimization of website content, meta tags, and alt tags.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices and algorithm updates.
• Monitor and analyze website analytics and search engine rankings.
• Assist in the research and analysis of keywords and search trends.
• Help grow the user base of the company's iPhone app (Android app in development)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience or strong interest in SEO or digital marketing
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Strong English communication skills and grammar skills (*Spanish also acceptable as our team is bi-lingual)
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and SEMrush

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to commit 2-3 hours per day.
• Creative mind
• Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change.
• Tech Savvy
• 3-month duration
