About Our Client
The client is a growing beauty industry.

• Evaluate and select external vendors, suppliers, and partners for formulation, packaging, and manufacturing.
• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to provide technical expertise, support product training, and assist in developing marketing strategies.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, trends, and competitive landscape, translating them into product concepts and strategies.
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to commercialization, for new beauty products across various categories.
• Develop product briefs, specifications, and timelines, managing the project from concept development, formulation, and testing to final production.
• Lead and manage a team of product developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and quality guidelines throughout the product development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, R&D, packaging, and regulatory, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, considering factors such as cost, manufacturing capabilities, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• Passion for the beauty industry, with a keen eye for innovation and emerging trends.
• In-depth knowledge of the product development process, including formulation, testing, packaging, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in product development within the beauty FMCG industry, with a focus on cosmetics, skincare, or hair care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for beauty products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer preferences in the beauty sector.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in product development.
• Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and delivering successful product launches.
