As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of multiple departments, including Process Operation, Process Maintenance, Process Analytical, and QA & QC Laboratory. You will play a critical role in optimizing the plant's performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiative.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the mineral processing fixed plant,
aligning it with the overall business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for growth,
process optimization, and efficiency enhancement.
• Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and capital investment, to
achieve maximum productivity and plant performance.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of
plant operations. Regularly report performance to senior management and suggest actionable
improvements.
• Collaborate with the Processing Metallurgy department to optimize mineral processing methods, ensuring the extraction and recovery of minerals are efficient and economically viable.
• Ensure process Analytical and QA & QC Processing Laboratory departments to implement robust testing and analysis procedures. Ensure that quality control standards are met and continuously improved to guarantee the high quality and consistency of the end products.
• Identify potential risks and challenges within the fixed plant operations, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the plant. Encourage crossfunctional collaboration to drive new initiatives and streamline existing processes.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and innovations in mineral processing. Assess their potential impact on plant operations and strategically integrate relevant technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and benchmarks in mineral processing. Utilize this knowledge to enhance the plant's competitive advantage and position it as a leader
in the field.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team. Create a talent development program to identify and nurture potential leaders within the organization.
• Review monthly financial pack to determine progress and status in obtaining objectives and revise plans as necessary in accordance with current conditions to meet the overall objectives. Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify areas for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and return on investment.
• Ensure the plant's adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and corporate governance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a
related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience (typically 20+ years) in mineral processing fixed plant operations, with a
significant portion in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing multiple departments.
3. Strong technical knowledge of mineral processing equipment and operations.
4. Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory testing procedures related to mineral processing.
5. Demonstrated experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate diverse teams effectively.
7. Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost management.
8. Proven track record in driving a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
9. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

5. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and enterprise
resource planning (ERP) software.
