Job Description

Job Overview:
The Senior HR Generalist Administrator is responsible for providing tactical and human resources transactional support
for the full contingent employee life-cycle from onboarding to the end of an assignment. Provides HR administrative,
clerical transactional support to one or more functional area of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Administer contingent exits and process terminations.
  • Answer electronic unemployment claims through Equifax.
  • Maintain and distribute as appropriate, current employee information, policy and procedures documents, and other communications.
  • May perform higher-level duties involving employee communications, pre-employment screening, responding to routine questions or human resources policies and procedures, identifying potential issues and complaints, etc.
  • Maintain electronic employee files.
  • Interface and coordinate with other support groups (e.g. Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.).
  • Assist with coordination, planning, and logistics of employee events, meetings, meals, etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule background and pre-employment screenings based on client requirements.
  • Analyze completed background and pre-employment screenings against work instructions and escalates issues tomanagement.
  • Administer and ensure I-9 compliance.
  • Gather information and prepares reports as directed.
  • Communicate progress to the hiring managers, recruiters, and/or applicable HR department daily.
  • Ensure data/coding integrity in Peoplesoft.
  • Provides HR administrative, clerical transactional support to one or more functional area of Human Resources.Extend offers and assist contingent employees with the hiring process in Taleo
  • Review and code invoices for payment.
  • Hire candidates in ATS and HRIS (such as Taleo, Peoplesoft, and SAP).
  • Audit candidate files to ensure required records are completed and entered into the appropriate electronic systems.
  • Check emails, and voicemails and respond timely.
  • Extend offers and assist contingent employees with the hiring process in Taleo.
  • Process various confidential forms and records related to the applicant, employment, enrollment, pay change, personal employee information, or other data.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, conferring with senior management on unusual matters.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Typing 30+ WPM.
  • 2+ years professional human resources experience in a staffing agency or corporate environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal clients.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic MS Office skills required; Skill in operating a personal computer, various printers, fax machine and other office equipment are necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to apply a broad knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
