About Our Client
The client is a global leader in industrial components. With a track record of more than 50 years in the market, they have been providing a one-stop solution for any industrial need for any industry sector.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Regular maintenance of accurate customer records and opportunity management in CRM.
  • Provide additional support for the inbound Customer Sales & Service team when required.
  • Participate in team briefings and ensure regular communication with team leaders and other team members to address issues and develop a wider range of skills.
  • Build strong internal relationships by working with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Customer Service to drive business objectives.
  • Operate effectively within current policies and procedures relating to pricing, order entry and lead times by becoming adept to using all of the company's systems and resources.
  • Prepare and follow up sales quotations to customers, prospects and leads documenting all activity in CRM.
  • Effective use of questioning and listening techniques to understand the customer's application requirements to maximize cross selling of full product ranges.
  • Maximise all sales opportunities through B2B activity including regular outcall activity as well as face to face meeting with customers regularly.
  • Participate enthusiastically in specific projects (business development and market research) and team activities when called upon.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's product range.
  • Defend and grow existing revenue streams through excellent account management to build long term relationships.
  • Proactively seek out to win new business for the company.
  • Attend trainings and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing share by cross selling additional product ranges.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is someone with strong experience and clear track record in catalogue selling for industrial components. A wide range of network to various industry segments (electronic, general manufacturing, automotive, oil & gas, furniture, and others) and the discipline to work independently and actively seek out to develop business are strong requirements for this role.
