Quantitative Researcher (Fintech) Jobs

Looking for a well-rounded researcher for a well established quantitative financial asset management company with global presence. The role is open to Indonesian Bahasa Speaking candidates only.

Main Responsibilities

Research

• Conduct research on academic quantitative finance literature
• Create and develop Alphas and other utilization algorithms on the crowdsourcing platform
• Identify and design new research domains. Generate ideas to grow the domain

Platform development

• Design and test new functionalities and datasets on the platform.
• Analyze current functionalities available to researchers, identify any issues with the platform and provide solutions and recommendations

Business Development and Consultant Engagement

• Frequent traveling between Vietnam and Indonesia is required
• Work with Strategy and Operations senior team and Business Development partners to enhance and implement user and consultant acquisitions
• Prepare and update training curriculum as required
• Conduct training sessions for the platform users and consultants

What You Need To Have

• Min 3-5 years of experience analyzing large datasets and demonstrated programming experience in one of the following - Java/C++/C/Python/MySQL/SQL Server; knowledge of UNIX preferred
• Possess good communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in engineering, science, mathematics, finance or any other related field that is highly analytical and quantitative from a leading university
• Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets
• Possess a research scientist mind-set; be a self-starter and be motivated by unsolved challenges
