ASEAN-Business Advisory Council (BAC)

Since its establishment in 2003, the ASEAN-BAC has served as the voice and aspirations of the private-sector led community to the ASEAN. Under the leadership of Indonesia, the council would bring a new round of involvement and unwavering support from the private sector to the government steps and policies that aim to advance the central power of the region towards more innovative and inclusive growth. The Indonesia’s ASEAN BAC Chairmanship will culminate in September 3-4 in two main events: ASEAN Business Investment Summit (ABIS) and ASEAN Business Award (ABA).

Internship

At ASEAN-BAC, we can provide you with unparalleled opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals to develop new skills and qualities, put into practice what you have learnt at university, and give you exposure to what working life is like.

The duration of our internship is between 3-4 months. It is a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
• Bachelor’s degree; Advanced graduate degree in progress (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
• Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
• Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and local office language(s)
