A Partner (M&A and TMT) job has become available at one of the ALB deal of the year winning law firm to strengthen their business. This position will be based in Jakarta and working with one of the top lawyers in Indonesia.

About The Partner (M&A And TMT) Role

Your day-to-day tasks will involve overseeing the practice group you specialise in and growing the team under your practice group. You will report directly to the Managing Partner of the law firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage current clients and bringing new clients to the law firm
• Grow the practice group you specialise in
• Create budget, business plan, and marketing plan for the practice group that you are developing
• Assist, advise, and represent clients

To succeed in this Partner (M&A and TMT) role, you should be experienced as lawyer and have a good leadership skills, growth mindset, and commercial acumen.

Key Requirements

• Bar license either in Indonesia, or any common law jurisdiction
• In-house legal experiences with huge interest to switching career and become a partner in a law firm is considered
• Minimum of eight years' experience as a lawyer in a globally reputed law firm, or 10 years in an Indonesian law firm which is not affiliated with an international law firm
• Excellent analytical skills – you will need to analyse how Indonesian and non-Indonesian regulations and be comfortable with changing regulatory landscape
• Excellent leadership skills, driven and ambitious attitude with commercial acumen
