Nutritionist / Chef - Remote

We’re on a mission to curate & categorize all the amazing food out there, so we can connect people with food they love that also matches their dietary requirements.

We are looking for knowledgeable Foodies who have a passion for food preparation and cooking.

Contract: Full-time (we are a team of independent contractors/freelancers)

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Job Details:

40 hours per week with optional overtime

Salary: starting $680 USD per month (based on experience)

Payment: Monthly (we use Wise/Transferwise as our payment platform)

Requirements:

• High proficiency in English
• Direct experience working with ingredients, dishes, and menus
• Ability to work remotely and to be self-motivated
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a Diploma in Culinary Arts OR Bachelor’s Degree in other disciplines but with extensive food knowledge – basically, a bonafide foodie at heart!
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Fluency in Swahili, Italian, Spanish, Greek or Mandarin

Team:

Our curation team consists of 60+ food experts, including chefs, food bloggers, food scientists, and nutritionists. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate categorization and curation of menus and dishes.

Responsibilities:

• Categorize and curate menus, ingredients, and dishes using our categorization system
• Meet daily and weekly targets
• Classify dishes according to cuisine type, dish type, course type, and main ingredients
• Collaborate with our team of food experts to review and correct AI Machine Learning predictions
• Use simple tools to list every ingredient used in each dish
• Work remotely and independently on a daily basis

Dish: Teriyaki Ramen with Salmon or Tuna

Main Ingredients: Teriyaki Sauce, Ramen Noodles

Choice Ingredients: Salmon or Tuna

Dish Type: Ramen

Cuisine Type: Japanese
