Sr Devops Engineer Jobs

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery. You will work closely with our software development and data teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and enhance overall system performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for applications.
2. Collaborate with software development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
3. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud-based resources.
4. Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure and cloud environments.
5. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and efficiency, utilizing tools and technologies such as monitoring systems, containerization, and orchestration frameworks.
6. Manage the release process and ensure smooth deployment of applications.
7. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the ML Ops lifecycle.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues and incidents related to applications.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps domain, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
10. Oversee the company’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role
3. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and deployment methodologies.
4. Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in Google Cloud or AWS.
5. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
6. Experience with systems reliability, networking, load balancing, logging, and monitoring
7. Experience with containerized technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks
8. Knowledge of version control system (e.g. Git) and their integration with CI/CD workflows.
9. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in relevant areas like Google Cloud or AWS.
2. Familiar with machine learning operations.
3. Experience with big data processing technology (e.g., Apache Kafka) and distributed systems.
4. Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures for cloud-based systems.
5. Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and their implications.
6. Knowledge of the ISO 27001 control framework and the ability to interpret and apply its requirements effectively.
