Mining Group Head Jobs

Duties:

• Manage of mine operation including contractor Load and haul, Drill and Blast,Mine Engineering support functions and fleet management systems.
• Manage the mine construction and environmental rehabilitation earthworks projects;
• Manage and train the national mine operations group in mine planning techniques, contractor supervision and compliance to health, safety and environmental management systems;
• Any other duties may be assigned.
• Manage principal mining activities including Resource and Reserve generation and Life of Mine plans, update feasibility study reporting and RKAB updates;
• Reporting of all activities;
• Manage of technical service department including geotechnical, hydrology, dewatering, mine geology and grade control( reconciliation), tailing dam construction, and survey functions;
• Full compliance with government, Health Safety and Environmental regulations in all activities;
• Manage of the underground mining projects;
• Manage a team of professionals and ensure development of professional skills within the department;
• Produce the annual budget mine plans and monthly forecasts;

Requirements :

1. Formal mine engineering or relate qualifications, over 15 years of directly related mine supervision, contractor management, mine engineering and technical service experience with previous supervision and management experience is essential;
2. Focus on open pit mining background with exposure to underground mining;
3. Self-starter and capable of working with minimal supervision;
4. Strong commercial understanding aspects of managing contractors and controllingcosts;
5. Excellent communication skill in Bahasa Indonesia & English – either written & speaking, as will have to work closely with a small team of professional managers across the mining, processing, environmental, geological and administrative operational areas;
6. Able to obtain a Wakil Kepala Teknik Tambang qualification;
7. Proficient in Ms. Office (Excel & Word)Surpac and other mine design software skill is an advantage;
8. Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental.
