Job Description

Hydra X provides regulatory-compliant, enterprise-ready solutions to prepare institutional clients for the future of finance. We seek to bridge the transition to a tokenised capital markets ecosystem by offering asset-agnostic solutions which allow interoperability between traditional and digital assets. Our clients include exchanges, banks, brokerages, and other financial institutions.


We are currently looking for a Institutional Sales Lead (Capital Markets Software) who will play an instrumental role in the company's growth ambition in South-east Asia. The role is responsible for prospecting institutional clients, pitching for new mandates and supporting business development and growth activities. Candidates who have prior experience in the financial sector, precious metals trading, or in tokenisation of financial assets will be considered favourably.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the target market.
  • Lead sales presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of hydrax.io's software solutions.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target institutional clients within the capital markets industry.
  • Represent hydrax.io at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Understand client requirements, pain points, and workflows to effectively position hydrax.io's software solutions as valuable tools for optimising trading operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to ensure the alignment of product offerings with client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients, including asset managers, investment banks, hedge funds, and other financial institutions.


Requirements:

  • At least10 years of related work experience, including a proven track record of success in institutional sales, particularly within the capital markets industry or financial technology sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of institutional clients' workflows, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with institutional clients and senior stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technical infrastructure behind capital markets, including trading platforms, connectivity, and related technologies.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established network and relationships within the capital markets industry.
  • Previous experience selling software solutions specifically tailored to the technical infrastructure of capital markets.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
