The knowledge economy and IR 4.0 is exacerbating an already prevalent skills deficit across ASEAN and broader Emerging Markets (EM). Nowhere is this more prevalent than in healthcare, where the prospect for merging physical, digital, and biomedical systems has far-reaching potential for healthcare provision.

Healthcare education systems across the region have been ill-equipped to deliver quality education outcomes leave alone bridge this widening skills deficit. Covid-19 has further exacerbated this predicament.

There exists therefore both a need and opportunity for a technology enabled medical education offering targeted initially at the Continuing Education and Training (CET) of existing healthcare workers with a particular focus on nursing and allied healthcare professionals.

Zafyre – a Singapore based technology enabled education company – and together with several well-established content partners (NUS and Thieme), have partnered to capture the above opportunity targeted initially at select ASEAN markets with the potential for wider Asian and EM penetration.

We are also partnered with Area9Lyceum, a leader in personalized and AI based adaptive learning for the healthcare sector, to leverage its comprehensive infrastructure and learning technology built over a 2-decade period.

About the Role

With over a million healthcare workers, Indonesia is a key market for Zafyre. The BD Executive will be an integral member of a 4-5 person team responsible for helping devise and drive the rollout of Zafyre’s business model in Indonesia.This will be done by underscoring to relevant stakeholders - hospitals, medical universities, government bodies and medical associations - the positive ROI attributes of a blended learning model in terms of a) delivering superior learning outcomes, b) enhancing productivity and thereby healthcare outcomes, and c) reducing the cost of training and widening its access.

Zafyre’s primary target market is public and private hospitals and selling to them their essential “must have” training needs for their healthcare workers. In reaching these customers aligning and onboarding medical associations and collegiums as key channel partners will be an important objective for the business development unit. The university market is another key and adjacent target market to which Zafyre will supply innovative and value added digital curriculum.

About the Individual

What are we looking for:

·Strong relevant work experience of at least 5 years as a Translator from English to Bahasa Indonesia

·Translation experience for healthcare projects from English to Bahasa Indonesia is a plus

·Experience as a project manager for translation projects is a plus

·Bachelors or Master’s degree in healthcare related background is a plus

·Clinical background is a plus

Job Requirements

·Translation of in-house course content from English to Bahasa Indonesia

·To project manage larger translation projects with outsourced translation companies, to review and sign off on translations

·Performs other duties as assigned

·Work is hybrid at our office in Pondok Indah
