Job description

• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities.
• Review and analyze financial statements and transactions to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Conduct tax planning and provide guidance on tax-related issues to the finance and accounting teams.
• Stay updated on tax developments and industry trends to identify potential opportunities or risks.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors on tax-related matters.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure timely and accurate reporting and filing of tax returns.
• Manage tax audits and disputes, and coordinate with relevant authorities as necessary.
• Oversee and manage the tax department, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Qualification

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and tax implications.
• Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
• Extensive experience in tax planning and compliance, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CTA) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of local tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
