Import/export and shipping goods have been until now a cumbersome process with hefty documentation, lack of transparency, poor stakeholder collaboration and process inefficiencies.

We use Cogoport Platform to make it easier for exporter and importerto connect with logistics providers (shipping liners, freight forwarders, transporters, customs house agents, etc.),allowing them to conduct their international trade more efficiently

Cogoport is currently expanding globally, and we are looking to hire Head of Ops tohelp launch & grow our business in Indonesia.The high-calibre candidates will be responsible for setting best practices & ensuring a superior customer & partner experience

Job description

1. Oversee the operations process and build communication with shippers, supply owners and stakeholders
2. Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day operational systems and process to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
3. Conduct analysis of business operations to identify areas for improvement and optimization
4. Build, motivate and manage a great team of operations personnel, setting KPIs and providing regular feedback to ensure high performance
5. Own Operations’ P&L, optimize cost at all times, and create necessary reporting for stakeholders

Requirement

1. Min. 6 years of In-depth experience in all aspects of supply chain, logistics, operations, procurement, planning, forecasting, inventory management
2. Leadership experience in managing people in a positive and inspiring manner
3. Flexible and adapt to work in an excitingstart-up environment
4. Interpersonal skills to effectively manage, interact, negotiate, coach and communicate with the team both in Bahasa and English
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize and execute tasks effective
