Field Collection Specialist Jobs

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Field Collection Specialist.

As a Field Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for visiting customers' premises to collect outstanding payments or delinquent accounts.

Your primary goal will be to recover overdue payments while maintaining positive customer relationships and representing our company in a professional manner.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed collection targets and contribute to the overall success of the collections team.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit and customer service departments, to resolve customer issues and ensure efficient payment processing.
• Use effective communication and negotiation techniques to persuade customers to make payments, set up payment plans, or arrange alternative solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Conduct field visits to customers' locations to collect outstanding payments or resolve delinquent accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment arrangements, and any other relevant information in a timely and organized manner.
• Prepare detailed reports on collection activities, progress, and challenges to share with management on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven experience in collections for minimum 2 years, or a similar role, preferably involving field visits and face-to-face interactions with customers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as required.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Strong commit to result.
