Fabrication Senior Rigger Jobs

Job Overview:
Conduct business & perform duties/tasks in accordance with McDermott’s, Code of Business Conduct, HSES and McDermott’s Quality Policies. Responsible for the operating the Lifting or Transferring equipment as per the guidelines and Safe work Practices. Communicate well with colleagues and Signalman to have a clear and precise understanding and execution of all Lifts. Confirm that all necessary safety barriers and precautions are in place before lift commencement. Ensure compliance with HSE policy and any Overriding Company Policies.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reporting any incidents or near misses to the rigging superintendent immediately.
• Thoroughly inspect the machine / vehicle condition for any defects I damage which could potentially compromise safety.
• Identify and remove from site immediately any tools or lifting devices which are unsafe, damaged or defective. (Report to Rigging Superintendent.)
• Responsible for taking Instructions only from Signalman during all the Lift operations and to ensure that the Signalman is identified with High Visibility vests during the Lifting operations.
• Possess a good understanding of the Company HSE Policy, Philosophy and Procedures.
• Foster a practice a safety-first culture within the Rigging Crew.
• Any safety concerns found regarding the condition of the machine / vehicle should be reported immediately to the rigging superintendent.
• Responsible for understanding precise instructions and ensuring that the suitably rated equipment required to carry out the instruction in a safe and timely manner is being used.
• Responsible and accountable for ensuring that good housekeeping discipline is employed at all times.
• High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct.
• Attend all Toolbox Talks.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Minimum Senior High School graduate
• Possess relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

• Having Valid K3 Rigger Certification
