We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimating Supervisor to join our team. As an Estimating Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of estimators and overseeing the estimation process for steel structure projects. You will collaborate closely with Estimating Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids are submitted.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of estimators to ensure timely and accurate completion of estimates for steel structure projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements during the estimation process.
• Good understanding of the tender process and cost estimate
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and select the most cost-effective options.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers together necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies related to steel structure estimation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop competitive bids and proposals that align with client requirements and budget constraints.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project requirements and scope.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to assess project conditions and potential challenges.
• Provide guidance and support to estimators, including training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor quotes, and other project expenses.

Requirements:

• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast paced construction environment.
• Min 5 years experience in similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Required skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, Skecth Up, Tender Management.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of steel construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
