Demand And Supply Manager

• Responsible to ensure the right balance of forecasting growing demand and supply capability to reach targeted sales and inventory turn over

• Develop automation system to be able calculate the right amount and time of product arrival in store working collaboratively with all related division

• Work closely with the purchasing, logistics, and operations teams to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency.

• Communicate regularly with store managers to understand on-the-ground demands and challenges.

• Generate regular reports on inventory performance, stock accuracy, and supply chain KPIs.

• Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to optimize inventory and supply chain operations.

• Anticipate potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to minimize impact.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

• Evaluate vendor performance regularly and seek opportunities for improvement.

Competencies for this role:

• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Skills in effectively managing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and collaborating on demand forecasting and inventory planning.
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems
• Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate supply chain risks
• Demand Forecasting Techniques: Knowledge of various demand forecasting methods, including time series analysis, regression analysis, and causal forecasting, to accurately predict future demand patterns.
• Supply Chain Software: Familiarity with supply chain management software for monitoring and optimizing the flow of products from suppliers to the store shelves. This may include software for logistics, transportation management, and warehouse management.
• Inventory Management Software: Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools to track stock levels, manage replenishment, and optimize inventory turnover. Experience with software such as SAP, Achanto, or similar systems is valuable.
• E-commerce Platforms: Understanding of e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces to manage digital inventory and fulfill online orders efficiently.
• Data Analysis Tools: Strong skills in using data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or specialized data analytics software to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and identify trends.
• Database Management: Understanding of database concepts and basic SQL skills to retrieve and manipulate data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Statistical Analysis: Knowledge of statistical techniques for analyzing data and making informed decisions, such as calculating safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead times.
