DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Supply and Demand Executive, you will be responsible for code creation, maintaining the item master, managing the inventory flow by coordinating the deliveries, and rounding up information gathered from the commercial and external teams. In order to improve the business outcomes, this person will work with the leadership team to streamline the supply chain operation. This includes, but not limited to, looking after commercial activities, process efficiencies, and business innovations. In detail:
- Address day-to-day supply chain-related matters with the relevant parties
- Monitor and ensure inbound/ outbound activities can be executed smoothly.
- This includes managing inventory levels, monitoring logistics operations, and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Collaborating with logistics providers to coordinate shipping activities and track shipments for timely delivery.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.
- Prepare monthly reports such as inventory adjustments, claims, ageing and inventory balancing reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders with varying business needs. The candidate will establish a high degree of ownership and initiative, coupled with a consistent, detail-oriented focus as controller of new businesses for the company. The candidate should be obsessed with cost and process efficiency, with incessant attention to the growing business requirements. Additionally, the candidate must have a strong history of managing projects to tight timelines, balancing multiple priorities, effectively working across internal stakeholders, and demonstrating effective communication skills appropriate to the audience. Other qualifications include the following:
- Experience in multinational businesses in the APAC region is preferred
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline of study. Business, commerce, and industrial engineering-related studies are a plus but not required.
- Passionate about supply and demand planning, business control, process excellence, and the ecommerce industry
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years combined experience in supply and demand planning, supply chain management, business management and other related areas
- Well-versed with forecasting, inventory management and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
