CONTRACT ENGINEER Vacancy

*Responsibilities:*

-Facilitate, coordinate, and prepare production process of Low-to-Medium risk and value contract documents under his/ her responsibility areas to ensure that the documents accommodate all service requirements and minimize risk to the company in compliance with proper business practice, company and/or GOI policies and regulations.

-Analyze and prepare contract document and selected tender packages for high value and risk contracts under his responsibility based on required services and guidelines through inviting potential contractors or vendors in order to solicit for work proposals (tenders) for specific services with regard to user's requirement, performance and fair value.

-Provide input and recommendation on Low-to-Medium risk contractor selection and placement to superior, to obtain the best decision, fair value, and minimize the risk to the company according to the Company policy and procedures.

-Analyze and prepare contract recommendation and cost analysis for further reviewed by superior, for Low-to-Medium risk and value contracts under his/ her responsibility to provide well rounded information to senior management prior to execution of a contract.

-Direct, monitor, and review the preparation of initial contract counter claims for rebuttal or counter assessment of contractor claims under his responsibility when necessary in order to ensure accurate data and/or information.

-Develop, establish, and maintain effective business relationship and communication with key personnel of End-Users and Contractors under scope of responsibility in coordination with Contract Compliance Section to improve quality of service and cost.

-Promote safety and environmental policy and procedure to ensure the safety and environmental policies are implemented and zero accident.

-Work Location: Kuala Kencana, Papua

Successful candidate will be engaged under a Fixed Term Contract Employment (PKWT)

*Qualifications:*

-Bachelor's degree from all engineering/business major (Civil or Industrial major and Advanced Degree considered a plus)

-Minimum 4 years working experience in contract management or related discipline.
