Desty's mission is to make digital commerce available for everyone. Founded in September 2020, in the midst of the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, we see the urgent needs of a great tool for a fast-growing community of people who want to start their own business. Our solution is a digital platform that serves as a single online destination for creators, influencers, and merchants to promote and sell their products.

Our founding team members are all Internet and e-commerce veterans, with extensive experience from well-known Chinese, SEA & US tech companies such as Alibaba, Google, Facebook, Gojek, Lazada, etc. We currently operate HQ offices in both Jakarta and Hangzhou, China.

For this position, we are looking for passionate individuals to be our Business Development Intern. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a knack for creativity and has the know-how to Generate Leads, Acquire, and Onboard new & existing Merchant. Someone who thinks outside the box or... without the box.

Responsibilities

• Profiling merchant store Key Account/Strategic Key Account based on category or size of transaction in marketplace.
• Capable to follow every process including meeting, onboarding and others.
• Follow up to BD about merchant Key Account/Strategic Key Account.
• Being the gatekeeper of Desty, to report block/suspend accounts that are malicious or not within guideline.
• Find merchants from marketplace, Instagram, and other social media.
• Providing daily and weekly reporting to supervisor.
• Reviewing, analyzing and then determining new account landing pages tag based on its category type.

Qualification

• Driven, discipline, organized and responsible.
• Can strive in a highly repetitive job and meet target.
• Final year university student or fresh graduate from any degree.
• Able to commit a minimum of 3 months internship.
• Flexible and open minded individual.
• Use your own device(s).
