About This Role

As a Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be providing financial advice and support to a designated Geography/s of the business. You are required to carry out other duties to assist with the management and smooth running of the Finance team and general financial activities of the firm. This role will be based in the Indonesia Office, Jakarta.

What will I do?

• Business unit support with analysis activity e.g. Geographies/Portfolios, provide recommendations to the business to assist decision making
• Liaises with Global Tax team to provide project tax advice to Project Directors and Management and involve in project financials monitoring and alignment to risks and controls (deeper analysis)
• Work closely with FP&A in preparation of management report, planning and budgeting as well as supporting Month/Quarterly/Year end close processes.
• Support Project Audit compliance reviews and Project Directors/Managers on project reviews as well as bids
• Resource planning and pipeline reconciliation; Review of Project forecasting outputs and highlight anomalies to Project Directors and Management

What will I bring?

• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments; proactive and have analytical approach, with the ability to anticipate and pre-empt problems and identify improvement opportunities.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Relevant industry experience in a professional services/consulting business environment would be advantageous.
• Intermediate level in Microsoft office applications and previous experience with project accounting systems would be desirable.
• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance or similar area; working towards or already achieved a professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA)
