Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job – Deputy Sales Operations Manager


The incumbent will execute end to end management of various business initiatives in Local Manage Indonesia:


The purpose of the role is to


Ensure the Sales operation & Finance Management processes are followed by the distributor on time in full Responsible for a smooth and cost-effective operations between the company, customers. The key challenge of the role is to develop consistency and coherence in the day-to-day operations of the Customer Development (CD) organisation, thus enabling Business Development Managers to focus on core selling roles. Lead on the execution of the E2E Internal administrative UI processes including Marketing, Legal, SC, and Finance.


Main Accountabilities


Finance management


  • Ensure pricing set up for UI Products is done with ULI
  • Monitoring price increase trend and share to Business development manager for review
  • Supporting Business Development to simulating P&L Plan and asking approval to Business Development Director.
  • Price Management
  • Account Receivable Tracking
  • Budget planning following up budget agreement with Unilever Indonesia, make sure transferred on system and complete until OPSO/IO creation (TTS, BMI/CMS)
  • Ensure orders get credit release from finance team
  • Budget Monitoring
  • Preparing sales deal documents based on Business Development Agreements and circulate to customers, and archive the signed documents
  • Follow up on Overdue payments from distributor ontime
  • Review Bank Guaranty of Distributor
  • Provide pricelist update based on calendar cotton update and share to Distributor regularly, including sanity check for active & non active SKU.


Customer management
  • Gate keeper for Document export requirement; ensure timeliness of project rollout and requirement fulfilment.
  • Share stock update to Customer by weekly period
  • Coordinate with Distributor to consolidate at each division level, ensure timeliness of sales forecast, ensure accuracy of data to facilitate efficient order fulfilment.
  • Collect and share UAPL SLOB List to Customer and support to set up price maintenance by monthly period.
  • Distributor Operations Management:
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations.
  • Understand customer business process in relation to Supply Chain, Finance, & operation improvement initiatives


Manage Internal UI Processes


  • Support Business Development Manager Indonesia.
  • Monitors implementation and adherence to UI Processes internally across functions and externally with the distributors
  • Monitors the performance of business partners by preparing scorecard.


Sales Operations Management


  • Key process points contact owner to resolve all SAP master data concern pertaining to Price and Customer Master.
  • Bi Monthly reporting on Sales vs target for total Indonesia business.
  • Managed overall Order Processing timeliness and accuracy

  • Expert in SAP SD Module
  • Ability to seize the big picture and to deep dive into details when necessary
  • Supply Chain business partnering skills


Relevant Experience


  • 5+ Years Prior have experience work in Unilever Indonesia.
  • 5+ years of business experience, preferably cross-functional specialise in Supply Chain Management – End to End operations including – Order To Cash and Global Sourcing Strategy and International Shipping management
