About the Opportunity

Our tech company is seeking a skilled and experienced Tech Lead to volunteer their expertise and contribute to the development of the company platform. As a volunteer on our team, you will play a critical role in guiding the technical direction and leading the development efforts of our immersive entertainment platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to align technical solutions with product goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the field of immersive entertainment and software development.
• Architect, design, and oversee the development of robust and scalable solutions.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering their growth and development.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.

Duration

• 3 months
• Part time
• Remote
• At least 2-3 hours/day

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Passion for immersive entertainment and a desire to contribute to its advancement.
• Strong technical background with expertise in web or mobile application development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role in software development.
