About Supply Chain Transformation at Earthworm Foundation

Earthworm Foundation has been supporting the transformation of global supply chains for over 20 years. Our approach is to bring together high-quality data insights with supply chain engagements to advance responsible sourcing commitments made by both suppliers and buyers of agricultural commodities.

Your Role

Being a Supply Chain Transformation Sr. Manager is a regional role (S. E. Asia), your day will be primarily focused on:

• Leading the development and maintenance of relationships with buyers and suppliers of agricultural commodities to foster transformation for responsible sourcing.
• Representing Earthworm Foundation and participating in working groups and/or forums related to topics such as land use planning & verification, HCV/HCS, recovery plans etc.
• Leading the development of strategies with buyers and suppliers to achieve responsible sourcing commitments.
• Innovating and co-designing solutions that balance the commitments of buyer and suppliers to achieve responsible sourcing objectives.
• Coordinating supplier engagement activities to bring efficiency and fit for purpose engagements that support transformation of responsible sourcing challenges.
• Coordinating strategy implementation across the supply chain and with Earthworm Foundations teams.

Your Profile

You possess a good level of knowledge of procurement practices and responsible sourcing approaches businesses use. You are open to opportunities to develop and lead complex projects and innovate on solutions with supply chain partners.

You are passionate about creating positive impact through strategic, healthy, and long-term relationships to respond environmental and social issues related to the forest-risk commodities (e.g., pulp & paper, rubber, palm oil, minerals, etc.).

You greatly enjoy engaging with diverse stakeholder groups at a senior level for the purposes of fostering collaboration and catalysing multistakeholder action. Being an excellent communicator, both in public speaking and writing, you are naturally able to serve as a bridging function between diverse stakeholders, including international and local staff and international, national, and local governments.

Your organizational skills, critical thinking and the relevance of your proposals make you a valuable asset to a team and an inspiring leader. With a genuine curiosity toward others, a deep sense of integrity and ethic and a good understanding of general sustainability concepts, as well as National and local regulations related to environmental management, you are a trusted and estimated partner.

Our global operations span many time zones, which means you may be required to work outside office hours. Must be able to do remote work/work from home when required.

Working Conditions

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience
• Full-time, fixed long-term contract (1 year with potential for extension)
• Citizenship or legal permission to work in the country
• Start as soon as possible
• Master degree in relevant field
• Office based role, in Jakarta, work from home arrangement
• English & Bahasa Indonesian (preferred)
