Job Description

As a Supply Chain Import, you will be responsible for managing import items for clients including communication with clients, supplier, forwarder and reviewing stock and supply needs of related imported items.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end import process, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure proper inventory levels and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate import records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders to ensure smooth import operations.
  • Stay updated with changes in import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and resolve any delays or issues that may arise.


Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using SAP & Excel
  • Proven experience in import/export operations
  • Familiarity with customs procedures, tariffs, and trade agreements.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process gaps and implement improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of import regulations, trade compliance, and documentation requirements.
