Senior Network Engineer- Regional Corporate It

This role is in Regional IT-INFRA Team, this team manages Infrastructure (System and Network) based in Lazada Offices, Logistics locations (40 Locations), Alicloud and MS Azure cloud.

In this role candidate would perform all the activities which are mentioned in the responsibilities section.

Responsibilities

• Ample of opportunities to work on out of the box solution with market standard products and Alibaba in-house products. This opportunity can open gates towards Infrastructure solution-architect role.
• Performs customer service duties and responds to customer requests as defined by management.
• Identifies opportunities to improve workflow and creates supporting documentation for review by peers and management.
• Prepares activity reports as requested by management.
• Monitors, responds and provides resolution for all network problem and incident tickets.
• Design, build and maintain the Lazada network across SEA region. The network is built on Cisco/Arista routers/switches, Fortigate firewalls, WLAN, SD-WAN, IOT and cloud based solutions.
• Plan and execute onsite network hardware installation and replacements at Lazada Offices/Warehouse/Sort Centers (typically with the use of external vendors).
• Perform others duties as requested, On-Call rotation.
• Work with colleagues from various teams when designing new deployments, on-boarding new clients and troubleshooting incidents.
• Completes network change requests in accordance with service level agreements and change management policies.
• · ensure all devices are under support contract
• Maintain the upgrade path of all network hardware SEA region wide:
• Design/plan and execute network configurations and upgrades for new projects, technology upgrades/enhancements, incident management/mitigation and day to day internal change requests.
• · plan/execute controlled upgrades and replacements when devices are close to EoS.
• Troubleshoots network and system problems and recommends corrective procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications(must have)

What you bring:

• Ability to understand and apply technical concepts.
• Strong experience with Fortigate firewalls.
• Strong experience with Layer 2 technologies.
• Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., monitoring tools and troubleshooting tools.
• Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to work pro-actively to fix problems and respond to change requests.
• Strong experience with Ruckus WLAN devices.
• Basic Knowledge of SD-WAN, Cloud and IOT technologies
• Strong experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Strong documentation skills (especially IT-Infrastructure diagrams and SOPs).
• Strong experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with automation (Mainly in Python).
• Ability to work on tasks and projects autonomously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
