Ms Engineer (L2) (Network Security Engineer)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare activity document, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly report
• Makes recommendations on technical or non-technical improvements
• Provides post analysis after incidents
• Provides guidance and sharing session to Internal or External parties
• Perform firewall device configuration and troubleshooting
• Take ownership of tasks through completion within set timelines
• Ensure service delivered to clients in accordance to defined SLAs

• Excellent attention to detail and client focused
• Demonstrates ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under high pressure environment
• Have security mind, knowing behavior and process of secure communication
• Able to work in 24X7 shift structure based on defined roster

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• CEH/OSCP or any other penetration certification is a plus
• CCNP Security certified or equivalent (NSE5, PCNSE, CCSE)
• Advanced diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in Network security technology especially firewall (Fortinet, PaloAlto, CiscoASA, Checkpoint)
• Analyzing logs and debug files generated by network/security appliances
• Other plus point:
• Experience in managing a team.
• Experience in penetration testing activities
