About the job

In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical support regarding software and hardware issues. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, install and maintain computer systems, and provide technical assistance to users. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and privacy of computer networks and systems.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disturbing other employees in completing their work.
• Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance without compromising security.
• Maintain and monitor daily IT operations to ensure good quality IT services based on high uptime.
• Create a new user, email, or email group. Add and remove email group members.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues (repair or replace components, debugging, etc.)
• Install and configure software on workstations according to applicable standards.
• Backing up data and cleaning the devices of users who are no longer employees.
• Setting up necessary workstations and peripheral devices (printers, monitors, projectors, etc.)
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboard, etc.) to ensure functionality.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate existing software, computer equipment, and IT services. Including creating and updating existing user guides.
• Maintain repair and repair records/records and maintenance schedule.
• Maintain productive and effective communication with related vendors.

Qualifications

• Having knowledge of CLI is a plus.
• Understand how to diagnose and resolve technical problems with hardware, software, and network systems.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Having experience in Project Management is a plus.
• Knowledge of network protocols and services
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking technologies.
• Minimal. 2 years experience in the IT field
• Understand how to install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Willingness to learn and keep up with the latest technological developments and IT trends.
• Able to work effectively under little supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, IS, and/or related majors.
• Quick learner, with good analytical, logical, and risk-based thinking.
• Being willing to work outside working hours when needed is a must. Even on holidays or weekends.
• Strong troubleshooting and troubleshooting skills.
